Following its hugely successful world premiere in 2015, the Royal New Zealand Ballet is bringing A Midsummer Night’s Dream to your living room for the second production in our Live in your Living Room series. See the original cast, onstage at the St James Theatre, Wellington from August 2015.

Lovers, fairies, mischief and moonlight conspire in Shakespeare’s classic tale, vividly retold with sparkling steps and Mendelssohn’s famous score. Be transported to a fantastical world of dazzling dance, music and enchantment.

Created for the RNZB by choreographer Liam Scarlett, with distinguished New Zealand designer Tracy Grant Lord creating the glorious vision of Shakespeare’s iconic characters and enchanted wood. This production, of one of Shakespeare’s best-known and best-loved plays, is not to be missed!

“all the elements of A Midsummer Night’s Dream envelops and welcomes the audience into a magical fairytale that will long remain in viewers’ memories”
