RNZB announces a sweet new partnership

The Royal New Zealand Ballet is delighted to announce a new partnership with honey product company HAUORA Honey.

The partnership, which will see the national ballet company work with HAUORA to promote the benefits of Mānuka honey for health and high performance, brings together two New Zealand companies who are committed to bringing the very best of Aotearoa New Zealand to audiences and consumers, at home and abroad.

Barbara Zhang, Director of Strategy & Brand at HAUORA Honey says: ‘At HAUORA, we believe that both nature and art possess a unique power to inspire and energise. We are honoured to partner with the Royal New Zealand Ballet to showcase the inherent synergy between New Zealand’s pristine vitality and world-class artistic excellence. This collaboration reflects our commitment to bringing a holistic and premium wellness experience to a global audience with a refined appreciation for the extraordinary.’

Tobias Perkins, RNZB Executive Director says: ‘We are delighted to welcome HAUORA to our family of sponsors and look forward to sharing performances and events with their team and special guests over the next two years and beyond. We are excited to partner with a company that, like the RNZB, is founded on the unique and precious natural heritage of Aotearoa New Zealand, and is inspired to bring the very best of our country to the global stage.’

The partnership has inspired RNZB dietitian Becky Jones to create energy-packed raw snack recipes for busy dancers, featuring UMF™ certified Mānuka honey for sweetness and its natural compounds that support the immune system, promote healing, and boost overall wellness. As the RNZB heads out on tour, offering dancers and crew a new tool to support their health is a welcome touch of sweetness for everyone.
