Sarah Griffiths

Director of People and Culture 

Sarah Griffiths has recently returned to Aotearoa after working overseas since 2008. Most recently she spent the last three years in Shanghai as the International Company Manager for Punchdrunk’s immersive dance piece Sleep No More. Prior to this, Sarah was the Company and Operations Manager for English National Ballet and Company Manager for The Australian Ballet.

Originally from Wellington, Sarah has worked extensively in professional theatre in New Zealand and the United Kingdom in various roles, including at The Old Vic, Downstage Theatre, Taki Rua Productions and Tawhiri.  She is also co-director of the street-based physical theatre company loonesco.

A highlight of Sarah’s career was working on Akram Khan’s Giselle for ENB and bringing it to the Auckland Festival in 2017 for New Zealand audiences.
