Participating in an RNZB Open Class is a fantastic way for young dancers to enhance their technique and experience working with the Royal New Zealand Ballet’s Artistic Staff first-hand. Offered in line with our touring schedule, these classes aim to connect young dancers with their national ballet company.

 

Bookings open approximately one month prior to the class taking place. Not all levels will be available in each centre.

 

Please ensure you meet both the age and grade eligibility criteria as stipulated below prior to registering:

 

Junior: Dancers 8–11 years and dancing at Grade 3 level or above

Intermediate: Dancers 11–14 years and dancing at Intermediate Foundation, Grade 7+ or equivalent

Advanced: Dancers 13–18 years and dancing at a minimum of Advanced Foundation level

 

The RNZB reserves the right to exclude students on the day who are not at the required standard. All times are subject to change.
