The Royal New Zealand Ballet is delighted to offer schools’ performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream as a term 4 treat for tamariki of all ages. This sparkling ballet, based on Shakespeare’s characters and story, is funny and feisty, with gorgeous costumes, music and of course, fabulous dancing.
This performance is the perfect opportunity to introduce your students to the world of live performance, with a magnificent fairytale set, classically inspired choreography and strong character themes for students to follow.
These special abridged school matinee performances are the perfect end of year treat for you and your students!
Wellington- St James Theatre, Friday 25th October 12.30pm
Christchurch- Isaac Theatre Royal, Friday 1st November 12.30pm
Auckland- Aotea Centre, Friday 6th December 12.30pm
The show will last approximately one hour and feature one act of the full-length show.
