In 2023, Kara became the Office and Education Administrator for the Royal New Zealand Ballet, leveraging her experience in administration and passion for dance and the arts.

Having once worked for Disneyland Paris as a character and parade performer, she is a former dancer with a Diploma in Commercial Dance from Whitireia Performing Arts Centre. Kara has also studied dance in England, establishing herself as a well-rounded performer and professional with a diverse set of skills.

Her combination of administration expertise and passion for the arts makes her a valuable member of the Royal New Zealand Ballet team.
