Jordana grew up dancing in the Whakatū (Nelson) region and went on to train full-time at Unitec where she attained her Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts (Contemporary Dance). She has had the pleasure of working with many esteemed dancers from around Aotearoa in her training and beyond. Some of her recent performance credits include being a dancer with Primarily Dance in Melodrama (2022), a Contemporary Ballet work choreographed by Lesley Bandy, along with other various performances in Arts Festivals across the country.
In 2022, Jordana furthered her teaching qualifications and gained her Graduate Diploma in Learning and Teaching from Massey University, specializing in teaching dance.
Jordana is very excited to dance with students across Aotearoa and be a part of the RNZB Education team from 2023. She is looking forward to combining her passions for dance and education in this role while aiming to create positive and accessible dance experiences for everyone.
