The RNZB provides discounted tickets for school groups on a limited basis for each of our productions to encourage you and your students to experience the thrill of live dance.

The 2023 Productions

Romeo & Juliet (May-Jun) Youthful, impetuous, aflame with the glory of first love and its tragic end, this is a timeless romance that resonates down the ages. This season is particularly suitable for high school students.

Lightscapes (Jul-Aug) a collection of works which celebrate the endless possibilities of light, space and the human body – the essence and wonder of dance. This season is particularly suitable for dance students.

Hansel & Gretel (Oct-Dec) Laughter, tears, shivers down the spine, plenty of sugar and just a touch of spice together make a recipe for a truly happy ending and a wonderful ballet experience for all ages. RNZB is thrilled to be offering School Matinee Performances of Hansel & Gretel in 2023.

Ticket Prices*:
$15 School Children/Teachers (ratio 9:1)
$20 Additional Adults (maximum of 5)
*A service fees of $6 will apply to each transaction at the time of booking

You’ll need 1 teacher for every 9 students, with a maximum of an additional 5 parents or teachers. Groups must be a minimum of 8 people.

Discounted tickets for school groups available for the following centres: Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Invercargill, Napier, Palmerston North and Wellington.
