We offer an exciting range of classes for students of all levels. These non-syllabus open classes are led by our artistic staff. They offer ballet students a valuable opportunity to enhance their technique while engaging with your national ballet company. All times subject to change. Bookings open online one month before the season starts.
Please note the criteria for participation in Open Classes. Students must meet both criteria (both age and ballet level) to be eligible.
Junior: Dancers must be at least 8 years old and dancing at Grade 3 level or above
Junior/Intermediate: Dancers who are 8 years old and dancing at Grade 3 level and dancers up to Intermediate level or equivalent may attend
Intermediate: Dancers must be at least 11 years old and dancing at a minimum level of Intermediate Foundation, Grades 7 – 8, Intermediate or equivalent
Intermediate/Advanced: Dancers who are 11 years old and dancing at Intermediate Foundation, Grades 7 – 8, Intermediate or equivalent and dancers up to Advanced Level may attend
Advanced: Dancers must be at least 14 years old and dancing at a minimum of Advanced Foundation level
