As part of the Te Papa’s free school holiday events, the RNZB is presenting a series of performances aimed at school aged children and their families. Join us for an enchanting new production of The Ugly Duckling. This playful performance re-tells Hans Christian Anderson’s timeless fairytale, with a distinctly New Zealand twist. It’s a heart-warming, coming of age story that focuses on the challenges of growing up, fitting in and finding your flock.
For the very first time there will be a show in te reo Māori and one with New Zealand sign language. There will also be one relaxed performance, catering for neurodiverse audiences of all ages.
