Philip Chatfield choreographed The Kiss in 1976 for Kerry-Anne Gilberd and John Shields, and it was revived as part of the 30th birthday celebrations in 1983.

No Exit | 1983

Ashley Killar’s No Exit was commissioned by Harry Haythorne for the New Zealand Ballet’s 30th anniversary in 1983.

Last Reunion | 1983
Philip Chatfield recalled that Last Reunion was a last-minute addition to the 1977 Autumn Tour as the company manager felt that the programme was not substantial enough; he choreographed it in just a few days, to music by Gustav Mahler.
