Ana joined the RNZB in January 2020, having been an artist with the West Australian Ballet since 2017, where  her stage highlights included Solo Shades from La Bayadere by  Greg Horsman, Daisy in David Nixon’s The Great Gatsby and X-it by Finnish choreographer Johanna Nuutinen.

Ana was born in Holguin, Cuba, and after completing five years at her regional ballet school, attended the Cuban National Ballet School in Havana.

Between 2009 and 2012 Ana trained at Miami City Ballet School and Boston Ballet School, joining Cincinnati Ballet as a Second Company member in 2012.
In 2013 she was promoted to full company member, her most memorable roles while at CBC include Olympe in Val Caniparoli’s Lady of the Camellias, Cylindrical Shadows by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa and Minus 16 by Ohad Naharin.
