The Royal New Zealand Ballet is pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale to Tutus on Tour 2018.
The much-loved regional programme is sponsored for the first time in 2018 by Ryman Healthcare, and brings the magic of ballet to all corners of New Zealand:
from Gore to Kerikeri, Tauranga to Oamaru, as well as Hamilton, Taupo and Whanganui.
‘We’re delighted to have been asked to support Tutus on Tour’ says Ryman Healthcare Chief Executive Gordon MacLeod
‘Our residents love the ballet and they like to support the arts – the RNZB is too good not to share.’
Dancers perform classical favourites and contemporary works, tailor-made for smaller venues, and suitable for all ages with ticket prices ranging from $10 – 35.
Tutus on Tour also gives local schools the chance to experience the RNZB with Ballet in a Box: observing the dancers’ daily warm up,
watching them perform brief works, and then exploring their world via a Q&A session.
In the evening, the dancers will present performances from the company’s repertoire, in full costume.
