Royal New Zealand Ballet presents “Little Red” at Te Papa

Come into the woods with Little Red for the Royal New Zealand Ballet’s playful retelling of the classic tale.
Shaun James Kelly, RNZB Choreographer in Residence, brings the famous red cape to life.

Programme
*Four shows across Wednesday and Friday
Wednesday 11 July, 11am – 11.30am and 12pm – 12.30pm
Friday 13 July, 11am – 11.30am and 12pm – 12.30pm
Where: Soundings Theatre – Level 2, Te Papa Museum
Cost: Free event, limited capacity

Royal New Zealand Ballet Kids Dance Workshops
Learn ballet from one of the best! Join RNZB Educator Lucy Marinkovich as she teaches you some steps from current productions and other basic moves.
These 45 minute workshops offer a special insight into ballet and introduce some basics such as foot and arm positions, pliés, balances, and lifts.
Suitable for primary school aged children.

Session times
* Six sessions running across Tuesday and Thursday
Where: Te Marae – Level 4, Te Papa Museum
Cost: $5 per child – limited places, booking essential

Tuesday 17 July
Session one: 10.30am – 11.15am (for ages 5 – 7)
Session two: 12pm – 12.45pm (repeat of the morning workshop, for ages 5 – 7)
Session three: 2pm – 3pm (for ages 8 – 11)

Thursday 19 July
