Continuing Education Courses

RNZB offers a course on the genre of ballet in conjunction with Victoria Continuing Education (Wellington) and Selwyn Community Education (Auckland).

Enjoy a 2 – 4 week course of dance appreciation where you will explore the many ways you may prepare in advance, or relish afterwards a performance by RNZB.

Wellington – Victoria Continuing Education

Topic: Romeo watching Juliet dancing
Over two sessions, and working with musicians playing early instruments, you will see Graziosa, a ballo by Renaissance dance master Domenico de Piacenza come to life. This is Juliet’s dance when Romeo first glimpses her and the rest is history! You may choose to learn the dance; join in the musicians; or to observe the dancers, perchance to sketch them.
