Veronika Maritati began her training at the school of the Theatre San Carlo of Naples and later graduated from the Accademia Nazionale di Danza in Rome.
She started her professional career with Balletto di Toscana Junior and afterwards she joined the DCE Company.
The following year she was invited to perform a scene in the feature film Walking on Sunshine. After that she had the opportunity to dance at the International Festival of Miami.
In 2014 she joined New Ballet Ru in Moscow where she was not only a dancer but also the assistant to choreographer Francesco Ventriglia for the production of Carmina Burana and Bolero.
In 2015 she was in the cast in a TV talent show in Italy Amici di Maria de Filippi.
Veronika joined the RNZB in 2016 and has since danced the pas de deux in Alexander Ekman’s Cacti for which she garnered praise from critics and in Andonis Foniadakis’ Selon désir as part of the acclaimed Speed of Light mixed bill, in Francesco Ventriglia’s The Wizard of Oz, and Ethan Stiefel and Johan Kobborg’s Giselle.
