Tristan Gross

Tristan Gross is from Melbourne, Australia and began his dance career early, participating in the closing ceremony of the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

He attended the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS) a full time Dance Scholarship, then trained full time at Danceworld in Melbourne followed by post graduate ballet study The National Theatre Ballet School where he consolidated his partnering and lifting skills with many pas de deux roles and performed lead roles in Giselle, The Nutcracker, La Syphide and Cinderella.

In 2016 Tristan joined the Western Australian Ballet as a Young Artist and in 2017 Tristan travelled to Europe to gain valuable experience, then returned to Melbourne to perform with the Australian Ballet in Christopher Wheeldon’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland then a Sydney season of The Sleeping Beauty.

In 2018 he will commence as a company artist with the Royal New Zealand Ballet.
