From Queensland, Australia, Bronte Kelly started dancing at the age of four and went on to train at the Australian Ballet School. She joined the RNZB at the beginning of 2011, performing in Tutus on Tour, Stravinsky Selection and The Sleeping Beauty, in which she performed the role of the Yellow Fairy. Recent highlights include appearing in Balanchine’s Who Cares?, performing the title role in the RNZB’s Cinderella and being a part of Ethan Stiefel and Johan Kobborg’s Giselle.

In 2013 Bronte appeared in Swan Lake as one of the cygnets and the Act III Neapolitan Dance; she also performed the Don Quixote pas de deux in Tutus on Tour and created the role of the Duck in Peter and the Wolf. During 2014 she appeared as Swanhilda in Coppélia and performed the ‘Wedding Couple’ pas de deux in Giselle in Los Angeles and again in 2015 during the RNZB’s tour to UK and Italy.  She has also taken on solo roles in both Johan Kobborg’s Les Lutins (2014) and his Salute (2015), Mrs Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol (2014) and created the role of Cobweb in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (2015).
