John Hull

John Hull was born in Sydney and trained at Ecole Ballet Studios before joining the English National Ballet School. He joined England’s Northern Ballet in 2003, where he danced leading roles including Pinkerton in Madame Butterfly, Solor in La Bayadère, Athos and D’Artagnan in The Three Musketeers, Caesar in Cleopatra, Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet, Oberon and Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Edgar in Wuthering Heights and the Cavalier in The Nutcracker. In 2012 John guested at the International Ballet Gala in Magdeburg and his performing career has also taken him to China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Italy and Australia.

John joined the Royal New Zealand Ballet in June 2014. His roles with the company have included Scrooge’s Nephew and Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol (2014) and the Don in Don Quixote (2015).
